FMCSA declaration includes 40 states, and it waives the “Hours of Service” requirements for “all essential goods and services.”  All fuels (gasoline, kerosene, diesel, jet fuel, diesel additives, heating fuels and oils, propane) are waived.

Heating Fuels

This 40-state waiver expires February 5, 2026. This new waiver covers the use of heating fuel anywhere (in response to the emergency), including commercial.

Weight Waivers

Finally, just a reminder that weight waivers can only be granted by the individual states.
